Saya Sushi

Saya Sushi, restaurant, take-away and catering started in 2012 when we opened the doors at Hötorget metro station. We then moved on to Malmskillnadsgatan and are now located at Linnégatan 31, Östermalm, close to Östermalmstorg and the food hall. In December 2019 we opened our second restaurant at Olofsgatan 6 near Hötorget.

Inspiration from the asian kitchen

In Asia dumplings are a very popular dish, so of course you will also find these lovely little things on our menu. However, our dumplings are a mix of the best of the Mongolian tradition and the Chinese cuisine where dumplings originally originate. We make them with love by hand (unlike many other restaurants) here in our kitchen at Östermalm.

Also on our menu you will find a variety of other dishes like Japanese sashimi, yakitori, yakiniku, shake mushi and bibimbap with its origins from Korea. On our menu you will also find Poké bowl, the trendy street food from Hawaii, inspired by the Japanese cuisine. Our goal is to cook the very best food from fresh products, according to your wishes. Do you want the salmon seared? Just let us know, and we’ll fix it! Our motto: ”A newly discovered dish is more fun than a newly discovered star”.

Catering and events

If you have a company event, wedding, birthday party, student reception or any other event, we can arrange with catering. At our website you can find some ideas for catering and also some inspirational photos,  if it’s not what you are after please contact us and we will resolve it according to your wishes. In autumn 2017 we delivered food to the Swedish TV show Idol, where we ended up at their Top 10 chart for best restaurants. Furthermore in 2018 we both delivered and served the guests at the event ”Sveriges största babyshower” by Lindex in both Stockholm and Uppsala. Also in 2018 we delivered sushi for the opening of Rituals flagship store in Gallerian, Stockholm.
